Silastic 3120 Base is suited for the reproduction of figurines, art objects and similar items where no deep undercuts or complex shapes are present and where maximum heat stability is required. It is suitable for centrifugal casting of low melt alloys, e.g. metal soldiers etc. High temperature stability to 250° C High flowability and long working time. Outstanding release properties, High hardness (60 Shore A) for mould rigidity.

This silicone rubber has been uniquely formulated to produce a very soft mould, whilst maintaining a high level tear strength and other properties. Ideal for one-piece moulds. Developed for the detailed reproduction of figurines, art objects and similar items. Can also be thickened for brush-on applications. High flowability and long working time foe complex moulds. Outstanding release properties. Very low hardness (8 Shore A).

SILASTIC 3495 Moldmaking rubber is a two-component material consisting of SILASTIC 3495 Base which when mixed with a SILASTIC 81 Series curing agent, cures at room temperature by a condensation reaction. A range of materials can be the cured silicone mold: plaster, polyurethane and polyester resins are materials typically used.

Silastic 3496, 3497 and 3498 are high strength silicone mouldmaking rubbers developed for the detailed reproduction of figurines, art objects and similar items. These grades offer good resistance to styrene attack and thus longer mould life can be expected when casting polyester resin.
